a doorknob doesn't have to turn to be useful!
flea finds:
vintage doorknobs / look for:
1. colored glass / crystal
2. detailed brass
3. porcelain
materials:
1. doorknob and plate
2. epoxy
3. threaded rod that fits inside knob / must be long enough to extend into the wall as far as it fits inside the knob
directions:
1. mix epoxy 2. squeeze epoxy into the hole on the doorknob
3. screw in the threaded rod / let dry
4. locate a stud in the wall /drill a hole into the wall the size of the threaded rod
5. attach the doorknob's backing plate to the wall
6. screw in the threaded rod
7. doorknob holds back lightweight curtains / combine with a cord to hold back heavier fabric
