Chic Recycler christmas tray a fun and festive project! flea finds: 1. wooden tray with removable glass 2. vintage christmas cards 3. vintage sheet music 4. ribbon 5. ivy leaves 6. fabric 7. any flat interesting festive items other materials: 1. mat board 2. pencil 3. gold glitter paint 4. glue 5. felt pads directions: 1. remove glass and backing from tray 2. draw around glass on mat board /cut out just inside drawn line 3. glue insert to wrong side of fabric /trim fabric even with edges of insert 4. add gold glitter paint to edges of sheet music, ivy leaves, etc for accent /allow to dry 5. arrange sheet music, cards, ribbon, ivy leaves, decorative items etc. on insert /glue(lightly) in place 6. place glass and insert in tray /attach tray backing 7. cover underside with felt pads to protect furniture tip: some "flea finds" for "chic recycler" projects are found in our house ask Lee (the flea) for a "flea find" not found in our house!
