vintage buttons / look for:
1. fun shapes and colors in plastic, metal, wood etc
other materials:
1. elastic
2. needle
3. thread
directions:
1. cut a 6" long piece of elastic (about 1 1/4" width)
2. hand stitch ends together
3. sew on enough buttons so elastic is not visible
