 create a touch of romance! flea finds: 1. vintage hankies: cotton florals, lace or tatted edgings, embroidered silk or linen hankies, etc. 2. crocheted doilies (used over a plain hankie) 3. costume jewelry parts 4. pretty ribbons other materials: 1. dried lavender 2. lavender-scented potpourri spray or oil 3. small measuring scoop directions: 1. fill a bowl with dried lavender /add lavender potpourri spray or oil if desired 2. spread out hankie on a flat surface 3. use small measuring scoop and place lavender on top of the handkerchief 4. gently hold the sides of the handkerchief up together 5. when all sides meet, gently twist the sides into one main strand (take care not to spill the lavender) 6. place a piece of ribbon just above the ball of lavender and tie it around the strand of fabric/ double knot to reinforce 7.
